Donna Morrissey

DONNA MORRISSEY is the author of eight previous books; the nationally bestselling memoir Pluck and seven acclaimed and bestselling novels, most recently the national bestseller Rage the Night and The Fortunate Brother, which won the Thomas Raddall Atlantic Fiction Award and the Arthur Ellis Award for Best Crime Fiction. Her work has been translated into several languages. Born and raised in Newfoundland, she lives in Halifax.
Amanda Peters

Amanda Peters is a writer of Mi’kmaq and Settler ancestry living and working in the Annapolis Valley. Her debut novel, The Berry Pickers, won the Carnagie Medal of Excellence for Fiction, the Barnes and Noble Discover Prize, the Darthmouth Book Award and the Crime Writers of Canada First Crime Book Award. Her work has been translated into 25 different languages. She is also the author of a short fiction collection, Waiting for the Long Night Moon and her second novel, The Birthing Tree was released in September 2026. She teaches at Acadia University in Wolfville and writes alongside a grumpy cat named Pook and a happy sheepdog named Holly.
Stephanie Domet

Stephanie Domet is the author of two novels, Homing and Fallsy Downsies, both published by Invisible. She also co-wrote a non-fiction book for middle grade readers called Amazing Atlantic Canadian Women, published by Nimbus. She is the co-founder and co-executive director of the AfterWords Literary Festival, and the managing editor of The Dalhousie Review. She is no doubt wearing something she sewed herself.
